This scheme has been established to offer support and assistance to dental plan patients who wish to request treatment following a dental trauma, dental emergency or diagnosis of cancer.

The scheme is wholly discretionary and is funded by your dental plan administrator by discretion. The treating dentist will be reimbursed for any cost of temporary treatment and remedial dental treatment from the sustained trauma of up to £10,000 the cost of . by the scheme administrator.

This Dental emergency assistance scheme is an additional benefit of being part of our dental plan and will not have an effect on your monthly payments. Emergency treatments such as tooth extraction, treatment of infection, temporary root canal treatment, re-fixing of bridge/crowns/inlays, provision of temporary crown are some of the treatments that are covered by the scheme.

The scheme also offers to cover ALL or PARTIAL costs of any remedial treatment needed if your emergency arises due to dental trauma or an accident. The eligibility criterion is for the injury to be sustained by an external blow to the face resulting in the damage of your teeth. For example being hit in the face by an object or falling over etc. Please tell the dentist if this is the case so he/she can fill out the form and make an application on your behalf.

NON- PLAN MEMBERS can also enjoy the benefits of this scheme at a cost £31.50 per annum

This entitles you to Worldwide Emergency Dental Assistance as explained above. Routine non emergency examinations and X-rays are additional to this annual fee and are charged per item.
